VICE Disk Image Creation

I found that after successfully creating in VICE a disc image of working BASIC code, then re-loading by attaching the new DI, a line number 0 has been created (see screengrab), referencing a corrupted version of the name [WildWest] twice entered in the bin creator fields. That produces a RUN error. Any thoughts as to how that additional line can be suppressed?

Can you describe the steps so I can recreate? Did you mount blank D64 then save "" ?

The line 0 looks like a LIST after LOAD "$" to me, you might need to NEW before typing in your code?
