Introducing myself
Hi all, you might already know me somewhat, but I am guessing most people are meeting me for the first time so I will start the introductions.
I am the founder of Retro Game Coders, and I am your typical retro content creator geek, IE. middle aged dude with glasses and facial hair.
My first computer was the Vic 20 and the day we got it started my whole career. After that we had the Spectrum 128+2, Atari 520STFM, 286 PC...
and now ... I have a dragon's hoard of old machines. I'm working on creating a game and tutorials for all of them.

You can read more if you are interested on the dedicated page https://retrogamecoders.com/about/
Followed for a while, "meeting" for the first time and somewhat envious of that collection!
Stuart Downing welcome aboard Stuart! The collection got out of hand during the peak of the pandemic, I think I went a bit bonkers ;)
Good Morning
My 1st Computer was the ZX81, followed by the Vic 20, C64, Amstrad CPC 464,664,6128. Atari ST520, 1040, Amiga A500, Amiga A1500.
I currently have an Spectrum 48K Original, 128K (Grey), 128[B], 128-3
Also C64 [Breadbin], C64C also originals. Amiga A500+, Amstrad CPC 6128.
I learned to program Z80 on the Amstrads and 6502 on the Vic 20.
Many years ago now, Using Zacs Z80 and 6502 Books.
William Robert Morris welcome! Great collection, similar journey to mine, though we very nearly got the zx81 we skipped right to the next page of the catalogue with the vic :)
Back in the day I struggled a bit with assembler, it wasn't really until I learned some x86 in the early 1990s it really clicked and then I could go back and really make progress. Zacs books are great for sure!
Chris Garrett For me life took over, never got past the 8 bit machine code. Never found the time to study 16 bit or 32 bit assembler, maybe opportunity lost but that's life. Did manage some DOS programming on the PC back in the 90's. Also some bespoke Excel programming for a charity.
William Robert Morris now you can! ;)
Hi, I'm Paul, I'm currently working on old Amstrad cpc 6128, and coding games on the Amiga 1200, and Atari STE, nice to be here. I've done a few games in the past years some of you might of come across.
Paul Boyes hey paul! It's encouraged to brag, let's know about those games :)
Hi Chris, it's been so long since I've done coding, it was only in basic and think a few went onto the PD round, would love to engage again with fellow coders and ideas on future games for the amiga and st, if you guys have any good ideas for games.
