Hi everyone, we had an C64 when I was a kid and back then I wanted to become a game developer. I'm did not end up as a game developer but I am a software engineer nowadays.
I'm deep into retro programming as a hobby. I have three vintage computers: a ZX Spectrum a Acorn electron and a Oric Atmos.
And I also have some retro computers a Mister Multi System² and an Agon Light 2 and an Agon Console8.
Welcome! Oric Atmos is one of the machines I have always found interesting but never picked up, it's kind of like a parallel universe spectrum but with 6502?
Chris Garrett it has a 6502, AY-3-8912 sound chip, an ULA just like the spectrum and a good quality keyboard. It is the successor of the Oric 1 that just like the ZX Spectrum has a chiclet keyboard with rubber keys. The case and keyboard where lthe only improvements the computer board was the same.
Sander Groen oh I didn't realise it had the AY chip, so kind of like the later Spectrums :) Loved the design of the Atmos, very cool looking!
