Dragon32 assembly issue

Not sure if I am at the right place with this message. I have been using the Retro IDE with the intention to complete some simple 6809 code I started 42 years ago on my Dragon32. I was all smooth and exciting till I started to include data within the source file (512bytes). The assembler just ignores the data. When I assemble the very same code with asm6809.exe on windows, however, it runs as expected. The online-IDE-assembled code runs ok, no error, no bug. It just ignores the data, and points to blank memory instead. Just as if the assembler did not care to include the data.

Hmm this sounds like an assembler configuration issue on my part, can you share the code please?

Cyrille Fontaine

sure, I published it on the server.

I am also investigating the Stack Pointer, but with no success so far.
