Could anybody help me out? I'm not a very techy guy.
haven't been into retro gaming but I want to try it. I liked my game boy advanced back in the day. I used to play some games on a desk top computer like DOOM and Wolfenstein or something.
I'm getting into it now though because I bought a r36s retro game console. I'm actually here to see if I can get help making the blasted thing work. I can't even turn it on and get it to power up :-(.
The best thing you can do is watch some YouTube videos on how to set it up. I have never used one of these, but I have a Retroid Flip 2 and that took some setting up. I found and watched a set up video on YouTube. Once I had watched it, I watched it again and followed the process on my Flip. Pausing the video whilst I carried out each step of the process until it was complete. I just did a quick search on YouTube and there were a few videos showing how to set it up.
Sorry if this sounds condescending but when you try to turn it on, does it make any signs of life at all?
Could be the battery is discharged/bad/not making connection, could be the SD card is bad/corrupt etc

It does now. I charged it up but it still doesn't boot up. Maybe that means it's a problem with the SD card?

I have not, thank you. I'll try that. I did find out that there are clones out there or bad cheap ones and apparently that is what I got unfortunately.
Mr. JS should still work but could be bad/corrupt SD card if it does charge up just not do anything when powered
